大林飛行場曾經出現去年在「Satellite Imagery of Former Dalin Missile Base/Airfield (大林飛彈基地衛星照片) 」這一篇裡，當時用的是1966年的CORONA衛星照片。我在中研院的檔案裡一直找不到日據時代拍攝的大林飛行場空照，上面這一張是美軍在1951年拍攝的。奇怪的是，當時距離二戰結束已經快六年，這張照片上面卻有「TARGET 30」的註記。 把照片放大後，可以發現跑道的外圍還有一圈似乎是小路或溝渠圍出來的機場週界，後來我發現CORONA衛星照片上也可以看到這一圈。但是物換星移，在Google Earth衛星照片上幾乎已經看不到這個週界了。 下圖是根據1951年空照圖繪製的平面圖，您也可以利用以下兩個連結在Google Earth或Google Maps上探索： Download the kmz file of the airdrome plan for Google Earth.
