會來這裡逛的網友，多半應該知道陳懷在47年前的9月9日被中國的飛彈擊落殉職。但是陳懷究竟執行過幾次U-2的偵照任務？主要目標是哪些地方？可能知道的人就比較少了。如果一切順利，國防部今年會出版一本跟黑貓中隊有關的口述歷史。只可惜國防部為德不卒，沒有全面開放相關檔案來協助這本書的寫作，所以遇到陳懷這樣的案例，口述歷史就不容易有具體的貢獻了。 我出了以下兩個跟陳懷有關的題目，讓有興趣的網友來試試，全部答對的前兩名網友（以留言時間為準），可以得到一本2009年9月號的Air & Space/Smithsonian雜誌。不過很抱歉，小弟只能寄給住在台灣的朋友。 請問陳懷總共（連同被擊落的那一次）執行過幾次U-2的偵照任務？ 請問陳懷的第二次U-2偵照任務的目標區大致上是下圖中的哪一區？ 答案會在9月9日後公布於此。

在美國吃過中國餐館的人應該都知道fortune cookie這個不中不西的東西，不過今天的主題並不是食物，而是王濤在《空軍 黑貓 華航：我的飛行生涯》這本書提到的「幸運餅乾」計畫（Project FORTUNE COOKIE）。 書中提到黃七賢和范鴻棣為了這項計畫特別再回到美國受訓，但是沒有提到什麼時候。以下這份文件不但有確切的時間，甚至連黃七賢（Denny）和范鴻棣（Andy）的英文名字都忘了塗消。 AQM-37就是計畫中U-2R要掛載的無人飛機，為了引誘共匪的雷達，還特別加裝了放大雷達回波的鼻錐。執行任務的U-2R機鼻內則會攜帶System 17B，用來接收地對空飛彈陣地雷達的訊號。文件中的PMR則是Pacific Missile Range的縮寫。
