國防部在今年中秋節前夕，把網站的banner加上了應景的圖樣，同時也把遮掩F-16垂直尾翼的旗幟拿掉，讓我們可以清楚看到尾翼上左右反置的ED兩個字母，證實BryanC在『國防部不需要「盜圖」吧？』所說的，這是一架美國空軍Edwards基地的一架F-16C。國防部當時回覆我說會「納入參考及改進」，我那時也認為國防部會利用網站改版的機會，把這張F-16C的圖片換掉。現在網站的banner改版了，不但美軍的F-16C仍然大剌剌的佔據banner的顯著位置，更讓大家清楚的看到這是一張放反的照片，真是貽笑大方！
【後記】（9月26日）中秋節一過，國防部網站的banner又被換了回來，F-16上倒反的ED兩個字再度被遮了起來。還好之前有把部分的screen shot抓下來，要不然我可能會變成「誣告」啊！

Worse come to worse, we can always uses some LYers to do a “Expose” on ROCAF/MND……
I wasn’t sure because I didn’t see any AIFF. But I guess they still think they could fool us with USAF F-16C……
If they love Edwards so much, why not put a photo of 93-0702?

國防部的網站終於把banner上面那架美軍的F-16拿掉了。好像國防部對F-16情有獨鍾，banner上的飛機還是F-16（這次是我們空軍自己的）。不過整個網頁採用紫色系的背景，看起來很難跟「國防」的刻板印象聯想在一起，也許這是設計人的逆向思考吧！
But the English page is still saying “Content Us” instead of “Contact Us”….
A picture is worth a thousand words. “Content” is only one word. 😛

Not long ago, I saw an MND recruiting poster featuring Mirage 2000 with inflight refueling probes.
But, back then they weren’t stupid enough to use your enemy’s submarine photo on their own MND website and tell the world that’s ROC Navy’s submarine….
What’s next, pointing Su-27/30 as F-16 C/D Block 52? J-10 as F-35? Or, did MND already became part of PLA, just hasn’t raise the 5 stars flag…..

Hmm… I guess I almost offended all the branches of ROC military in the last 12 months. First, the ROC Army/AF SAM units with helping the “Fortress Taiwan” project, which identified and showed all ROC Army/AF long, medium and short range SAM sites and system. Good thing I didn’t show those wartime reserve/backup SAM sites we found. Then ROC Navy with showing Kilo sub as ROCN Hai Lung SSK. Now, I pointed out ROC Army Special Forces’ mountain/winter training is a dog and pony show, based on the news…..
