8月11日中國時報「西太平洋守護神 小鷹號航母明年除役」的報導有如下的一段文字：
小鷹號攻擊火力主要是艦上第五艦載機聯隊。該聯隊下轄九個飛機中隊，裝備各型艦載機八十二架，其中包括F／A－18C「大黃蜂」戰機二十四架、A－6E「入侵者」攻擊機十六架、E－2C「鷹眼」預警機四架、EA－6B「徘徊者」電戰機四架、S－3B「海盜」反潛機六架、SH－60F「海鷹」反潛直升機六架、HH－60H「黑鷹」救援直升機兩架。
2007年正好是A-6E退役十週年，這位記者親眼在艦上看到A-6E了嗎？（如果有的話，那就是靈異事件了）比較可能的是，這位記者未經考證就直接引用了哪裡的舊資料。下面這張照片攝於1996年底，美國海軍最後一個使用A-6E的單位VA-75特別把一架A-6E漆成服役初期的塗裝，在A-6E退役前拍下這張照片作紀念（注意甲板和艦橋上擠滿了人）。
除了上面這個比較嚴重的錯誤，這段文字裡的小毛病還包括記者遺漏了F/A-18E/F這個新伙伴和送他上艦的C-2A，而CVW-5好像已經沒有S-3B了（哪位可以幫我確定嗎？）。另外，HH-60H也是「海鷹」的一型，跟「黑鷹」只是外觀相似，兩者結構卻很不同。

Also, there’s no HH-60H, but HS-14 operates SH-60F Seahawk(the one with dipping sonar), while HSL-51 Det 3 operates SH-60B LAMPS III Seahawk.
I think the reporter just digged out something from old time stuff, and cut and paste the info, never both just to check the air wing’s homepage or the squadrons’ homepage…….
