上圖是國防部網站最上方Banner的一部份（2007年7月22日擷取），眼尖的人可以發現圖中那架F-16並不是我國空軍所擁有的型式，而是一架掛著AGM-88 HARM與HTS的Block 50 F-16C。不知是有意還是無意，製圖者還用一面旗幟似的東西把垂直尾翼的大半部蓋了起來。我們市井小民如果因為無法取得空拍照片，而去借用美國空軍的圖片，還算是情有可原。國防部縱然是合法使用，也沒有必要用一張外國空軍的照片放在自己網站上最醒目的位置吧？要F-16的空拍照，請空軍支援一下就有了。難道是國防部真的太想買到F-16C，所以才先找照片放到網站上？
Looks like Edward AFB’s bird, 90-359? The image is reversed/flipped. The original photo was about HARM live launch testing(1 HARM just launched but airbrushed out, while the other still hanging under the wing). The background is also airbrushed in.

Weibin, your TaiwanAirBlog banner looks a lot better. Maybe you should authorize the MND to use it. 🙂

經過一番搜尋和研究，我發現我也犯了個小錯誤：這架F-16C並非Block 50，而是美軍序號86-0359的Block 30 F-16C，目前隸屬Edwards AFB的416 FLTS。抱歉！
Well, you’re half right, it’s Block 30E, but does have Block 50 modifications….

It’s not really about MoND gets caught, but how they react or cover up, or refuse to acknowledge of it at all…..

You should try their English page. “Contact Us” link became “Content Us”…..
If you look closer, you will see that the F-16 in the banner of the English page is also a USAF F-16C carrying HARMs.
The F-16C on top of MND’s English website is actually from USAF 35th FW at Misawa Air Base, Japan.
