北港飛行場平面圖 (Tsuina Airdrome on Google Earth & Maps)

北港飛行場跟鹽水飛行場很像，都有東西兩個跑道，之間再由滑行道連接。美軍當年在北港飛行場的空照底片上的註記是「Tsuina Airdrome」，Tsuina顯然是「水林」的台語發音。以現在的行政區來看，西跑道（上圖）就在水林鄉境內，位於北港鎮內的是東跑道（下圖）。

Layout of the former Beigang Airdrome (American analysts referred to it as Tsuina Airdrome) is quite similar to that of Ensui Airdrome. Both consisted of a west runway and an east runway, connected by various taxiways. The west runway (photo above) was located in the current Shuelin Township, whose Taiwanese pronunciation is Tsuina, while the east runway (photo below) was located in the current Beigang Township.

當年美軍也一併拍攝到的好收公學校，就位在一條滑行道旁，不遠處還有一座露天機堡。滄海桑田，昔日的北港飛行場已經變成良田，但好收公學校現在繼續以好收國小的身份教育下一代：
