Ok, it is my first ever RC model. I first saw it in a toy store at a mall a few weeks ago. It was priced at 1280 NT, which I thought was kindof expensive as a toy. Today the store has an anniversary sale and this small helicopter was on sale for 990 NT. It took me over 20 minutes to make up my mind to buy it. For myself, of course.

It is quite easy to fly and strong enough to withstand repeated crashes. Even my eight-year-old daughter can master flying it after two minutes of practice. The only problem is that it takes about twenty minutes to recharge its battery but the endurance is only five minutes. The box says it is controlled by infrared signals but I have no idea where the receiver is on the model.

I think the receiver is in the cockpit area. It’s only logical. Besides, the black screen/cover looks like what the IR recevier panel on most VCRs…….
I got the same chopper during Thanksgiving. It is really fun to fly it (as long as I can keep my dog from “tasting” it 🙂
BTW, love your blog.
