美國水兵遊高雄老照片

All photos by Navy Department Library via Fold3.com在中美協防條約廢止之前，美國海軍的軍艦經常造訪高雄和基隆這兩座港口，而所謂的Cruise Book留下了許多美國水兵遊覽台灣的影像。透過這些老照片，讓我們得以一覽老高雄的風貌。由於我對高雄並不十分熟悉，如果你知道照片裡的景點，歡迎留言告知。謝謝！
Before the Mutual Defense Treaty between the ROC and the US was terminated in 1979, US Navy ships often made port calls to Kaohsiung and Keelung. Thanks to the so-called Navy Cruise Books, which keeps many photos taken during the port calls, we are able to see what Kaohsiung was like in the old days. Since I am not quite familiar with Kaohsiung, if you happen to know where the photo were taken or the landmarks in the photos, please let me know. Thanks.USS Mullany (DD-528) 1968:
照片最左邊的三間店，由左至右分別是：復興西藥房、三龍攝影、東寶銀樓。
從照片裡的石燈籠判斷，這張照片應該是在高雄忠烈祠拍攝。
Judging from the stone lantern in the photo, I conclude the photo was taken from the Kaohsiung Martyrs’ Shrine.
照片最右邊的商店是良友服裝，隔壁是大（財？）（溪？灣？）飯店。USS O’Brien (DD-725) 1965:
USS Perkins (DD-877) 1967:
原本以為這是一座廟宇，後來在別的地方發限這是當時的「台灣省澄清湖工業陳列館」，現在是淡水館或海水館之一。
On the first sight, I thought it was a shrine. But later I found out it was called “Taiwan Provincial Chengching Lake Industrial Exhibit Hall” at the time. Now it is an aquarium.USS Piedmont (AD-17) 1968:

這張照片也有石燈籠，應該同樣是在高雄忠烈祠拍攝。
This photo was also mostly likely taken from the Kaohsiung Martyrs’ Shrine.
好像是野台戲。
Looked like Taiwanese opera, usually played in front of a temple.

有牛車那張是七賢三路末端近高雄港碼頭

書包大王那一張，位置在現在鹽埕區的大仁路鹽埕街口，圖中的廟是「三山國王廟」。對照如下：

在http://teacherpo101.pixnet.net/blog/post/66859897 中提到當年七賢三路有33家酒吧,並一一列出店名.其中在七賢三路與必忠街口有一家叫中國之夜酒吧,而牛車右邊有一看板上寫CHINA N(被遮住) BA(被遮住),如果這家是中國之夜酒吧那牛車在七賢三路與必忠街交叉口.

謝謝您提供的寶貴資訊！之前才想說如果能從照片中找出各家酒吧，應該很有趣，沒想到有人已經做成列表了。因為我並非高雄在地人，所以把這一批美軍遊高雄的照片交給一位高雄長大的網友，也許他會有更多的發現。

書包大王那張是在大勇路與大仁路口，目前是寶島鐘錶名店，現址對面即是麥當勞店。三山國王廟位於鹽埕街與大仁路的路口，三山國王廟前的那條街才是鹽埕街。

那張廟宇照片確定是旗津渡船頭一上來,廟前路旁的天后宮.民國60年中我小時候的天后宮旁邊圍牆旁還是保有一些攤販,後來到了民國70年中,這些攤販都被拆光,露出廟宇原來的外觀.這時是這間天后宮最好看的時候(乾乾淨淨).結果80年後,這個地方又被攤販給包圍了…Orz

謝謝你這些的照片。我意外的在其中一個照片中( 七賢三路）七賢三路就把去看到我爸爸年輕的影子他就站在皇后酒吧的門口身穿黑色的衣服高高的謝謝你。我看了之後都哭了。
我爸爸是安郁宗七賢三路上的酒吧皇后酒吧就是我家開的時間可以倒退大概四十五年前
