The End of an Era

When did the last two U-2 left Taoyuan?  A locally published book says August 1974 (close enough), and another says 1975 (way off).  So here is the official record:

As for the last operational mission, it was flown by Chiu, ‘Mike’ Sungchou on May 24, 1974:
