“New” Photos of ROCAF F-16 in US

Posted on March 17, 2006

21FS F-16

Ok, they are not that new.  These photos must have been taken in 2002, when USAF published several other photos of 21FS F-16 on its official website.  (BTW, I couldn’t find them there anymore.  Did USAF take them off because of pressure from China?)  A friend of mine, Bryan Chen, found these on Luke AFB’s photo gallery.  The two F-16 are 93-0711 and 93-0721.

Here’s a few more ROCAF F-16 pictures in Luke.

Though, I’m more interest in the last few pictures, ie the F-16C(???) in Edwards AFB, that has the parachute and the AIFF. Might be they belongs to ROCAF, ie the “rumor” replacement for the crashed F-16A/B block 20, paid for by US government/P&W?????

Related to Edwards AFB and ROCAF, here’s the news report on new decoy systems been tested in Edwards AFB for ROCAF.

Never mind. The 2 F-16C in Edwards AFB belongs to Greece. I checked the s/n, and came back they’re Block 50D.

USAF will deny any Taiwan pilots training in Luke AFB, officially, of course. Don’t know if they resume base tour or open base day in Luke AFB….
