I will use their case to illustrate the process each nominee must go through before being qualified as a U-2 pilot.  <b>\u9ec3\u4e03\u8ce2\u548c\u674e\u4f2f\u5049\u57281967\u5e74\u7372\u9078\u70ba\u4e0b\u4e00\u6279\u63a5\u53d7U-2\u8a13\u7df4\u7684\u98db\u884c\u54e1\uff0c\u6709\u95dc\u4ed6\u5011\u8a13\u7df4\u904e\u7a0b\u7684\u6587\u4ef6\u6070\u597d\u5927\u534a\u90fd\u5df2\u89e3\u5bc6\uff0c\u6b63\u597d\u53ef\u4ee5\u8b93\u6211\u5011\u4e86\u89e3\u9019\u4e9b\u98db\u884c\u54e1\u5f9e\u9074\u9078\u5230\u6210\u70ba\u6b63\u5f0fU-2\u98db\u884c\u54e1\u7684\u6b77\u7a0b\u3002<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The process began with the nomination.  In Hwang and Lee&#8217;s case, the nomination took place in January 1967.  But before the candidates were identified, a tentative schedule had been drawn up, which consisted of the pre-training phase and U-2 training phase.   (Note that in the following document, the words &#8220;35th Sqdn&#8221; had not been sanitized before it was released.)<b>\u7a7a\u8ecd\u5f9e1967\u5e741\u6708\u958b\u59cb\u5167\u90e8\u7684\u9074\u9078\u4f5c\u696d\uff0c\u5118\u7ba1\u4eba\u9078\u9084\u6c92\u78ba\u5b9a\uff0c\u7f8e\u65b9\u5df2\u7d93\u628a\u8a13\u7df4\u6642\u7a0b\u6392\u4e86\u51fa\u4f86\u3002\u88ab\u9078\u4e0a\u7684\u98db\u884c\u54e1\u5728\u63a5\u53d7U-2\u76f8\u95dc\u7684\u5730\u9762\u3001\u98db\u884c\u8a13\u7df4\u4e4b\u524d\uff0c\u5fc5\u9808\u5148\u7d93\u6b77\u9ad4\u6aa2\u3001\u91cf\u88fd\u58d3\u529b\u8863\u3001\u8a9e\u8a00\u8a13\u7df4\u7b49\u904e\u7a0b\u3002   (\u6ce8\u610f\u4e0b\u9762\u6587\u4ef6\u4e2d\uff0c\u4ee3\u886835\u4e2d\u968a\u7684&#8221;35th Sqdn&#8221;\u7684\u5169\u500b\u5b57\u4e26\u6c92\u6709\u88ab\u5857\u9ed1\u3002)<\/b><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/taiwanairpower.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/training_01.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/taiwanairpower.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/training_02.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Although ROCAF proposed Denny and David as the candidates in February, the ROC and US governments were negotiating the extension of Project TACKLE at the time and so the nomination was still pending.  <b>\u7a7a\u8ecd\u57282\u6708\u5c31\u5df2\u7d93\u78ba\u5b9a\u9ec3\u4e03\u8ce2\u548c\u674e\u4f2f\u5049\u9019\u5169\u4f4d\u4eba\u9078\uff0c\u7136\u800c\u7576\u6642\u6211\u570b\u6b63\u5728\u8ddf\u7f8e\u570b\u5354\u8abf\u7e8c\u7c3d\u5feb\u5200\u8a08\u756b\u7684\u5354\u5b9a\uff0c\u6240\u4ee5\u6b63\u5f0f\u7684\u63d0\u540d\u4f5c\u696d\u8981\u7b49\u5230\u5354\u8abf\u904e\u7a0b\u5b8c\u7562\u5f8c\u624d\u9032\u884c\u3002<\/b><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/taiwanairpower.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/training_03.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Denny and David arrived at Edwards AFB, CA, in late April.  They were immediately arranged for various examinations and interviews.  The pressure suit fitting was to be undertaken at David Clark Company, Worcester, MA.  <b>\u9ec3\u4e03\u8ce2\u548c\u674e\u4f2f\u5049\u5728\u7576\u5e744\u6708\u4e0b\u65ec\u62b5\u9054\u52a0\u5dde\u7684\u611b\u5fb7\u83ef\u7a7a\u8ecd\u57fa\u5730\uff0c\u96a8\u5373\u99ac\u4e0d\u505c\u8e44\u7684\u63a5\u6536\u5404\u9805\u6aa2\u67e5\u548c\u9762\u8ac7\uff0c\u4e4b\u5f8c\u5230\u9ebb\u5dde\u7684David Clark\u516c\u53f8\u53bb\u91cf\u88fdU-2\u5c08\u7528\u7684\u58d3\u529b\u8863\u3002<\/b><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/taiwanairpower.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/training_03a.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/taiwanairpower.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/training_04.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>From May through July, Denny and David were enrolled in language training in Los Angeles.  <b>\u5f9e5\u6708\u52307\u6708\uff0c\u9ec3\u4e03\u8ce2\u548c\u674e\u4f2f\u5049\u5728\u6d1b\u6749\u78ef\u63a5\u53d7\u70ba\u671f\u5169\u500b\u6708\u7684\u8a9e\u8a00\u8a13\u7df4\u3002<\/b><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/taiwanairpower.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/training_05.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/taiwanairpower.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/training_06.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The language training was completed in July.
