The plane had taken off from USS Block Island (CVE-106), the flagship of Task Group 77.1, which had been ordered to evacuate the Allied POW from Formosa.  The following photos are all from the Block Island&#8217;s 1945 Cruise Book, which the photo on the top is taken from TG 77.1&#8217;s Action Report.<\/p>\n<p>\u4e0b\u9762\u9019\u5f35\u7167\u7247\u4e2d\uff0c\u9762\u5c0d\u93e1\u982d\u3001\u7559\u8457\u5169\u6487\u9b0d\u5b50\u7684\u662f\u7f8e\u8ecd\u9019\u6b21\u64a4\u96e2\u4efb\u52d9\u8ca0\u8cac\u8207\u65e5\u8ecd\u4ea4\u6d89\u7684\u6307\u63ee\u5b98A. D. Cooley\u4e0a\u6821\uff08\u6d77\u8ecd\u9678\u6230\u968a\uff09\uff0c\u4ed6\u57289\u67084\u65e5\u5f9e\u5e03\u6d1b\u514b\u5cf6\u865f\u63db\u4e58Thomas J. Gary \u865f\u9a45\u9010\u8266\uff08DE-326\uff09\uff0c\u6e96\u5099\u7b2c\u4e8c\u5929\u5f9e\u57fa\u9686\u6e2f\u4e0a\u5cb8\uff0c\u540c\u884c\u9084\u6709\u7f8e\u570b\u6d77\u8ecd\u53ca\u9678\u6230\u968a\u7684\u91ab\u8b77\u4eba\u54e1\u3002<br \/>The next photo was originally captioned &#8220;Colonel Cooley confers with the Japnaese&#8221;.  Colonel A. D. Cooley, USMC, (the American officer facing the camera) was transferred on the previous day from the Block Island to the USS Thomas J. Cook\u7b49\u4e09\u4f4d\u8ecd\u5b98\uff0c\u642d\u4e58\u65e5\u8ecd\u63d0\u4f9b\u7684\u8ecd\u8266\u5f9e\u4e2d\u570b\u51fa\u767c\u5230\u53f0\u7063\uff0c\u540c\u884c\u7684\u9084\u5305\u62ec\u4e00\u4f4d\u4e2d\u570b\u653f\u5e9c\u7684\u9867\u554f\u9ec3\u6f84\u6df5\u3002Task Group 77.1\u62b5\u9054\u53f0\u7063\u524d\u90fd\u9084\u7121\u6cd5\u8ddf\u9019\u500b\u5c0f\u7d44\u53d6\u5f97\u806f\u7e6b\uff0c\u4f46\u662f\u4ed6\u5011\u90fd\u53c3\u52a0\u4e86\u7f8e\u8ecd\u4ee3\u8868\u8207\u65e5\u8ecd\u4ee3\u88689\u67085\u65e5\u5728Thomas J. Gary \u865f\u9a45\u9010\u8266\u4e0a\u7684\u6703\u8b70\u3002\u4e0b\u5716\u4e2d\u7684\u4e2d\u570b\u4eba\u5f88\u6709\u53ef\u80fd\u5c31\u5305\u62ec\u4e86\u9ec3\u6f84\u6df5\uff1a<br \/>&#8220;Colonel Cooley and officers relax with Chinese&#8221;: On September 1, a Japanese warship ferried a team of Air Ground Aid Section (AGAS) consisting of Lt. John A. MacLellan, USNR, Lt. John L. Sehon, USNR, Lt. William T. Cook, USAS CAC, and Hwang Tin Yan, Chinese Official Advisor to AGAS POW Party, from China to Formosa, but the Task Group had not been able to establish contact with them until the 5th.  The AGAS team was present at the conference aboard USS Gary between American representatives and Japanese military commanders.  It was very likely the Chinese in the photo was the AGAS team member.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/taiwanairpower.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/pow_6.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>9\u67086\u65e5\u4e0b\u5348\uff0c\u82f1\u570b\u6d77\u8ecd\u6d3e\u51fa\u7684\u7279\u9063\u968aTask Group 111.3\u4e5f\u62b5\u9054\u57fa\u9686\uff0c\u5176\u4e2dBermuda\u3001Agronaut\u3001Quberon\u4e09\u8258\u9032\u6e2f\u505c\u6cca\uff0cColossus\u8207Tumult\u9019\u5169\u8258\u5247\u662f\u5728\u5916\u6d77\u63d0\u4f9b\u7a7a\u4e2d\u652f\u63f4\u3002\u4e0b\u5716\u662f\u505c\u9760\u57fa\u9686\u6e2f\u7684Argonaut\u865f\u8ecd\u8266\uff1a<br \/>The following afternoon, British Task Group 111.3 arrived at Kiirun from Leyte.  HMS Bermuda, Agronaut, and Quberon entered the harbor, while Colossus and Tumult remained outside to provide air support.
