{"id":58,"date":"2006-05-21T12:38:17","date_gmt":"2006-05-21T04:38:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/taiwanairpower.org\/blog\/?p=58"},"modified":"2006-05-21T12:42:06","modified_gmt":"2006-05-21T04:42:06","slug":"piracy-by-the-prc-government","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/taiwanairpower.org\/blog\/?p=58","title":{"rendered":"Piracy by the PRC Government"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"left\">Although the People&#8217;s Republic of China government has been working hard to crack down piracy in order to improve its image, what will happen if the PRC government itself is the perpetrator?<\/p>\n<p>It is widely known that the Chinese military had built a replica of Taiwan&#8217;s Ching Chuan Kang air base in Dingxin, Gansu Province, to practice how to take over the base in the event of a war with Taiwan.\u00a0 It took me some time to locate it on Google Maps.\u00a0 The image below shows the replica in Dingxin on the left and the actual CCK on the right.\u00a0 It can be seen a suspected service road on the northwest corner leading to a possbile supporting facility.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: center\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"Dingxin (left) and CCK (right).
