This mission covered most airfields in the southeast China.  CIA&#8217;s photo interpreters found as many as 34 airfields in the photos!  The following image, taken from GRC-106 Immediate Photographic Interpretation Report, lists two of the four airfields found around Canton (now Guangzhou):<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/taiwanairpower.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/canton_1.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/><font size=-1>Source\uff1a CIA<\/font><\/p>\n<p>\u9019\u5169\u5ea7\u6a5f\u5834\u5728\u7576\u6642\u90fd\u5df2\u7d93\u5ee2\u68c4\uff0c\u7d93\u904e\u4e94\u5341\u5e74\u7684\u7269\u63db\u661f\u79fb\uff0c\u52a0\u4e0a\u6211\u6c92\u6709U-2\u62cd\u651d\u7684\u7167\u7247\uff0c\u6240\u4ee5\u5118\u7ba1\u5831\u544a\u63d0\u4f9b\u4e86\u5927\u7565\u7684\u7d93\u7def\u5ea6\uff0c\u6211\u4e00\u76f4\u7121\u6cd5\u78ba\u8a8d\u9019\u5169\u5ea7\u6a5f\u5834\u7684\u4f4d\u7f6e\u3002<\/p>\n<p>\u6c92\u60f3\u5230\u6211\u73fe\u5728\u7814\u7a76\u7684\u4e8c\u6b21\u5927\u6230\u7f8e\u8ecd\u4f5c\u6230\u8a18\u9304\u6703\u6d3e\u4e0a\u7528\u5834\uff0c\u6211\u5728\u7f8e\u570b\u6d77\u8ecd\u62cd\u651d\u7684\u5075\u5bdf\u7167\u7247\u4e2d\u627e\u5230\u4e86\u9ec3\u57d4\u548c\u5929\u6cb3\u9019\u5169\u5ea7\u6a5f\u5834\u7684\u7a7a\u7167\u5716\u3002\u4ee5\u4e0b\u9019\u5f35\u662f\u9ec3\u57d4\u6a5f\u5834\u7684\u7167\u7247\uff1a<br \/>Since I did not have the photos taken by the U-2 on this mission, I wasn&#8217;t able to locate these two airfields on modern satellite image.  Incidentally, I discovered aerial reconnaissance photos of them taken by the US Navy during WWII.
