Some of them were captured and later became prisoners of war (POWs). The above table was compiled by Japan&#8217;s Taiwan Force Command on the POWs captured during this campaign.  There were sixteen POWs on the list but I believed there were other POWs undocumented.<\/p>\n<p>\u5118\u7ba1\u8868\u4e0a\u6709\u8a31\u591a\u6f22\u5b57\uff0c\u88ab\u4fd8\u7f8e\u8ecd\u7684\u59d3\u540d\u537b\u90fd\u662f\u7528\u7247\u5047\u540d\u8868\u793a\uff0c\u6240\u4ee5\u8981\u78ba\u8a8d\u4ed6\u5011\u7684\u82f1\u6587\u59d3\u540d\u6709\u76f8\u7576\u7684\u96e3\u5ea6\u3002\u82b1\u4e86\u4e00\u756a\u529f\u592b\u5f8c\uff0c\u6211\u5728\u7f8e\u570b\u7684\u8cc7\u6599\u627e\u5230\u4e86\u5927\u90e8\u5206\u4eba\u7684\u59d3\u540d\uff0c\u5217\u65bc\u4e0b\u8868\u8b93\u5404\u4f4d\u53c3\u8003\u3002<br \/>Since the names of the POWs were documented in Katakana characters, it took quite some effort for me to find the English spellings in the records from the American side. (jg) USNR<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/table>\n<p><!--  POW data --><\/p>\n<p>\u5728\u9019\u4e9b\u4fd8\u865c\u4e2d\uff0c\u4f86\u81ea\u4fc4\u4ea5\u4fc4\u5dde\u514b\u91cc\u592b\u862d\u7684Gordon Johnson\u8ddf\u5176\u4ed6\u4e94\u540d\u4e0d\u77e5\u540d\u7684\u88ab\u4fd8\u7f8e\u8ecd\u88ab\u98db\u5f80\u65e5\u672c\u6771\u4eac\u9644\u8fd1\u7684\u4e00\u5ea7\u76e3\u7344\uff0c\u7d93\u904e\u4e86\u534a\u5e74\u591a\u7684\u714e\u71ac\uff0c\u4ed6\u57281945\u5e748\u6708\u7372\u91cb\uff0c\u4e4b\u5f8c\u56de\u5230\u7f8e\u570b\u3002<br \/>Among these POWs, Gordon Johnson, from Cleveland, Ohio, was later flown to Japan to a prison near Tokyo with five other fliers (names unknown).  After several months of ordeal, he was released after the end of the war and returned to the US.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/taiwanairpower.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/pow_3.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>\u4e0d\u904e\u539f\u5148\u5728\u7889\u5821\u5c71\u865f\u822a\u8266\uff08USS Bunker Hill\uff09\u670d\u5f79\u7684James Langiotti\u548cHarwood Sharp\u7684\u904b\u6c23\u5c31\u6c92\u90a3\u9ebc\u597d\u4e86\u3002\u5728\u4ed6\u5011\u4e00\u8d77\u57f7\u884c\u7684\u7b2c38\u6b21\u4efb\u52d9\u4e2d\uff0c\u5169\u4eba\u4e58\u5750\u7684SB2C\u88ab\u64ca\u843d\uff0c\u5169\u4eba\u4e5f\u4e00\u8d77\u88ab\u65e5\u8ecd\u4fd8\u865c\uff0c\u4e4b\u5f8c\u88ab\u9001\u5f80\u53f0\u5317\u76e3\u7344\u56da\u7981\u30021945\u5e746\u670819\u65e5\uff0c\u4ed6\u5011\u8ddf\u5176\u4ed6\u76df\u8ecd\u6230\u4fd8\u88ab\u65e5\u8ecd\u57f7\u884c\u69cd\u6c7a\u3002\u4e09\u5e74\u5f8c\uff0c\u5169\u4eba\u7684\u9aa8\u7070\u7f48\u624d\u88ab\u767c\u73fe\u3002\u7d93\u904e\u96d9\u65b9\u5bb6\u4eba\u7684\u540c\u610f\uff0c1948\u5e744\u6708\u4e2d\uff0cLangiotti\u548cSharp\u7684\u9aa8\u7070\u4e00\u8d77\u5f9e\u7a7a\u4e2d\u7051\u5728\u590f\u5a01\u5937\u7684\u6d77\u9762\u4e0a\uff0c\u7d50\u675f\u4e86\u5169\u4eba\u5171\u540c\u300c\u57f7\u884c\u300d\u7684\u7b2c39\u6b21\u3001\u4e5f\u662f\u6700\u5f8c\u4e00\u6b21\u4efb\u52d9\u3002<br \/>However, James Langiotti and Harwood Sharp were not so lucky.  After the SB2C they flown together were shot down on their 38th mission, both were captured and sent to the notorious Taipei Prison.  On June 19, 1945, they were executed along with other Allied POWs after a mock trial.  Three years later, their ashes were found in identical urns.  Their parents suggested burial at sea.  In April 1948, Langiotti and Sharp &#8220;flew&#8221; their 39th and last mission.
