His return to the &#8220;motherland&#8221; took place before the story of the Blackcat Squadron was revealed.  So not much was known about the missions he had flown.<\/p>\n<p>\u5c0d\u9ed1\u8c93\u4e2d\u968a\u7a0d\u6709\u4e86\u89e3\u7684\u4eba\uff0c\u53ef\u80fd\u77e5\u9053\u738b\u932b\u7235\u7684\u7b2c\u4e00\u6b21\u4efb\u52d9\u8ddf\u674e\u5357\u5c4f\u88ab\u64ca\u843d\u7684\u4efb\u52d9\u662f\u5728\u540c\u4e00\u5929\uff081964\u5e747\u67087\u65e5\uff09\u57f7\u884c\u7684\u3002\u4e5f\u56e0\u70ba\u674e\u88ab\u98db\u5f48\u64ca\u843d\uff0c\u6240\u4ee5\u5927\u90e8\u5206\u7684\u6ce8\u610f\u529b\u7684\u653e\u5728\u674e\u7684\u4efb\u52d9\uff0c\u738b\u7684\u4efb\u52d9\u53cd\u800c\u8b8a\u6210\u914d\u89d2\u3002\u5176\u5be6\u738b\u7684\u4efb\u52d9\u6709\u4e00\u500b\u91cd\u8981\u7684\u6210\u679c\uff0c\u5c31\u662f\u5728\u856a\u6e56\u6a5f\u5834\u62cd\u5230\u4e5d\u67b6MiG-21\uff0c\u8b49\u5be6\u4e2d\u570b\u89e3\u653e\u8ecd\u5df2\u7d93\u64c1\u6709\u9019\u7a2e\u9ad8\u6027\u80fd\u6230\u9b25\u6a5f\u3002\u53e6\u5916\uff0c\u4ed6\u5728\u4e0a\u6d77\u8207\u5b9a\u6d77\u9644\u8fd1\uff0c\u4e5f\u62cd\u651d\u5230\u82e5\u5e72\u8258\u6f5b\u8266\u3002<br \/>Wang flew his first U-2 mission on the same day that Terry Lee was shot down.  So much attention was focused on Lee&#8217;s incident that Wang was literally upstaged.  In fact, Wang&#8217;s mission brought back some important intelligence.
