The enlarged photo of that area is below, in which a large square is visible.  The square was Mato Airdrome (Mato is the Japanese pronunciation of current-day Madou, Tainan).<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/taiwanairpower.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/mato_2.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>\u9019\u662f\u6211\u552f\u4e00\u80fd\u627e\u5230\u7684\u9ebb\u8c46\u98db\u884c\u5834\u7167\u7247\uff0c\u504f\u504f\u300c\u53f0\u7063\u5340\u5404\u98db\u6a5f\u5834\u8981\u5716\u300d\u4e2d\uff0c\u9ebb\u8c46\u548c\u53e6\u5916\u5e7e\u500b\u53f0\u5357\u5730\u5340\u98db\u884c\u5834\u7684\u8981\u5716\u53c8\u6563\u4f5a\u4e0d\u898b\uff0c\u6240\u4ee5\u6211\u53ea\u80fd\u627e\u51fa\u5b83\u7684\u4f4d\u7f6e\uff0c\u7121\u6cd5\u756b\u51fa\u5e73\u9762\u5716\u3002\u4ee5\u4e0b\u662f\u7528\u540c\u6a23\u89d2\u5ea6\u770b\u5230\u7684Google Earth\u885b\u661f\u7167\u7247\uff0c\u9ebb\u8c46\u98db\u884c\u5834\u7684\u5ea7\u6a19\u5927\u7d04\u662f23 12&#8242; 10&#8243;N 120 16&#8242; 52&#8243;E\u3002<br \/>This is the only WWII aerial photo of Matou Airdrome that I could find in the archive.  What&#8217;s even worse is that the airdrome plans of Mato and several others in Tainan area were missing from <i>Taiwan Area Airdrome Plans<\/i>.  So I was unable to draw the site plan.
