With the help of the <i>Taiwan Area Airdrome Plans<\/i> (Taiwan Garrison Command Headquarters, 1945), which I obtained from National Archives Administration last Friday, the mystery is finally solved.<\/p>\n<p>\u4e0b\u9762\u662f\u300c\u53f0\u7063\u5340\u5404\u6a5f\u5834\u8981\u5716\u300d\u88e1\u7684\u5927\u809a\u5c71\u98db\u884c\u5834\u5e73\u9762\u5716\uff0c\u53f0\u7063\u4ee5\u65b0\u5e84\u5b50\u3001\u5357\u5bee\u70ba\u540d\u7684\u5730\u65b9\u4e0d\u53ea\u4e00\u8655\uff0c\u4f46\u4e95\u5b50\u982d\u53ea\u5728\u5927\u809a\u9109\u6709\uff0c\u5c0b\u8993\u5df2\u4e45\u7684\u5927\u809a\u5c71\u98db\u884c\u5834\u5c31\u9019\u6a23\u627e\u5230\u4e86\u3002<\/br>The following chart from the <i>Taiwan Area Airdrome Plans<\/i> reveals the location and configuration of Dadu Mountain Airdrome.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/taiwanairpower.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/dadu_1.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>\u78ba\u5b9a\u4e86\u5927\u809a\u5c71\u98db\u884c\u5834\u7684\u4f4d\u7f6e\u5f8c\uff0c\u6211\u518d\u56de\u982d\u53bb\u627e\u53f0\u4e2d\u5730\u5340\u7684\u7a7a\u7167\u5716\uff0c\u4e0d\u904e\u5c31\u53ea\u627e\u5230\u4ee5\u4e0b\u9019\u5f35\u98db\u884c\u5834\u5317\u7aef\u7684\u659c\u7167\u7167\u7247\u3002<\/br>After locating the airdrome, I dug into the photo archive and found the following oblique photo of the north end of the airfield. The following image is the satellite photo of the aidrome area.  Absolute nothing can tell that there once was an airfield at this location.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/taiwanairpower.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/dadu_5.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>\u8ddd\u96e2\u8dd1\u9053\u5357\u7aef\u5927\u7d042.5\u516c\u91cc\u8655\uff0c\u6709\u4e00\u5ea7\u540a\u9418\u578b\u7889\u5821\uff0c\u9019\u61c9\u8a72\u662f\u5927\u809a\u5c71\u98db\u884c\u5834\u50c5\u5b58\u7684\u907a\u8de1\u3002<\/br>About 2.5 km south of the runway, there is a pillbox.
