So when I first heard about Taipei South Airport (&#8220;Nan Ji Chang&#8221;), I thought it was an active airport just like Sungshan Airport.  It was many years afterwards when I finally realized that Nan Ji Chang was just a name and there was no airplanes.  But I did not know the name could date back to the Japanese colonial period until last year.  There indeed used to be an airport at this location.<\/p>\n<p>\u4e0a\u9762\u7b2c\u4e00\u5f35\u7167\u7247\uff0c\u662f\u7f8e\u8ecd\u57281945\u5e744\u6708\u62cd\u7684\uff0c\u7b2c\u4e8c\u5f35\u7684\u62cd\u651d\u65e5\u671f\u5247\u662f\u540c\u5e74\u76846\u6708\u3002\u4f46\u662f\u7b49\u5230\u7f8e\u570b\u7684CORONA\u885b\u661f\u57281966\u5e74\u62cd\u5230\u4e0b\u9762\u9019\u5f35\u7167\u7247\u6642\uff0c\u6a5f\u5834\u65e9\u5df2\u4e0d\u898b\u8e64\u8de1\uff0c\u4e5f\u96e3\u602a\u6211\u9019\u9109\u4e0b\u4f86\u7684\u571f\u5305\u5b50\u8981\u5230\u9019\u628a\u5e74\u7d00\u4e86\u624d\u77e5\u9053\u9019\u88e1\u5728\u65e5\u672c\u6642\u4ee3\u771f\u7684\u6709\u6a5f\u5834\u3002<\/br>In the first two images above, taken in 1945, the runway is clearly visible.  But in the following 1966 CORONA satellite image, it is really difficult to tell once there had been an airport.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/taiwanairpower.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/taihoku_s_4.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>\u5357\u6a5f\u5834\u7684\u9732\u5929\u6a5f\u5821\u6709\u5169\u7a2e\uff0c\u4e00\u7a2e\u662fV\u5b57\u578b\uff0c\u53e6\u4e00\u7a2e\u5247\u662f\u3107\u5b57\u578b\uff0c\u6211\u5728Google\u4e0a\u5206\u5225\u7528\u4e09\u89d2\u5f62\u548c\u6b63\u65b9\u5f62\u4f86\u6a19\u8a18\u3002<\/br>There were two types of aircraft revetments, the V shape and U shape.
