The next photo was taken five days later, when the B-29 heavy bombers of the 20th Bomb Command bombed Takao Harbor. There used to be a coal-burning power plant in the city of Takao.  A short canal can be seen on the middle left side of the above photo.  The darker area below the canal was the coal dump, where coal was loaded onto the conveyor belt into the powerhouse.  Three smoke stacks can be been by the powerhouse.  Transformers were located on the upper left side of the photo.<\/p>\n<p>\u5728\u4e0b\u9762\u9019\u5f351959\u5e74\u7684\u7a7a\u7167\u4e2d\uff0c\u767c\u96fb\u5ee0\u986f\u7136\u4ecd\u5728\u4f7f\u7528\u4e2d\uff1a<br \/>Obviously the power plant was still in operation when the next 1959 photo was taken:<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=550 alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/taiwanairpower.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/takao_177a.jpg\"><br \/><small><a href=\"http:\/\/gis.rchss.sinica.edu.tw\/GIArchive\/\" target=_blank>\u4e2d\u592e\u7814\u7a76\u9662\u6d77\u5916\u6b77\u53f2\u5716\u8cc7\u8207\u5178\u85cf (Via Academia Sinica)<\/a><\/small><\/p>\n<p>\u73fe\u5728\u7576\u7136\u4e0d\u53ef\u80fd\u5728\u5e02\u5340\u88e1\u8a2d\u7f6e\u706b\u529b\u767c\u96fb\u5ee0\uff0c\u4f46\u9019\u88e1\u4ecd\u662f\u53f0\u96fb\u5728\u4f7f\u7528\uff0c\u8b8a\u96fb\u8a2d\u65bd\u6bd4\u4ee5\u524d\u66f4\u5927\u4e86\u3002<br \/>The state-owned Taipower took over the plant after the war.
