Two ROCAF F-16 from the 401st TCW at Hualien AFB made precautionary landings at CCK AFB at 1022 hrs on February 8, after the generator warning light on one F-16 came on at 1002 hrs. The ROCAF General Headquarters later issued a statement denying the reports by some media that the F-16 had made “forced landings”.

空官兩架教練機擦撞

高雄岡山空軍官校兩架ＡＴ－３教練機昨天上午在滑行跑道發生長機、僚機機翼擦撞，未聞人員傷亡，但訓練因此停止。當時帶領飛行的是空官飛行部少將指揮官紀建宗，而發生原因是長機滑行起飛前突然發現煞車有異狀致臨時煞車，並發出訊號，後方僚機未即時注意繼續滑行，雖經煞車及緊急轉彎，但兩架訓練機機翼仍發生「碰觸」。
