美國航空國民兵哈德伍靶場（Hardwood Range）
前幾天在A Very Rare Breed: EA-6A Intruder裡提到的哈德伍靶場（Hardwood Range），是過去我在美國唸書的學校所在地、威斯康辛州首府麥迪遜西北方的一座空對地炸射靶場。十年前的六月，在我順利拿到學位後，我利用兩年一次的openhouse機會，到這裡感受一下在國內不太可能有機會體驗的經歷。 為了逼真，靶場內布置了用報廢戰車改裝模擬的敵軍戰車。 圖中的兩個圓形物體，是戰機機砲射擊用的標靶。之前在電視影片聽到的機砲聲都是短而密集的「噠噠」聲，但是當天F-16射擊時的巨大聲響真的把我嚇了一跳。 這是「敵軍」的地對空飛彈陣地。靶場還會視演練的需要，發射模擬的雷達波，戰機必須做出對應的反制動作。 為了讓飛行員感受到地對空飛彈的威脅，靶場會發射這種稱為「Smoky SAM」的大型沖天炮，來模擬攻擊的飛彈。 Smoky SAM發射！ 當天也開放靶場的塔台。這個靶場有ACMI的設施，當天在塔台上還播放過去ACMI演練的錄影。 來自Seymour Johnson AFB的F-15E。那時我最大的鏡頭只有200mm，當天的天氣又糟到不行，所以效果不佳，請原諒。 F-16投下的練習彈，擊中地面後會發出白煙，地面人員可以藉此評分。 除了炸射區，靶場裡也有空投區。當天由密爾瓦基（Milwaukee）Mitchell International Airport的空軍後備隊表演空投。 …
