轟炸永康飛行場?

[註: 本文是1月11日《Bombing Eiko Airfield?》的中文版]
美國海軍部在1944年6月完成的《福爾摩沙的機場與水上飛機場》情報分析報告中提到，永康飛行場位於北緯23 02’，東經120 14’，這樣的資訊在GPS出現前數十年的時代裡算是相當正確的。這份報告進一步指出，永康飛行場位在「台灣西南部，距海岸線約6英里。也就是在台南東北方3英里處，剛好位於通往台南的主要道路的南面。往東4英里是新化，台南飛行場則在其南南西方6英里處。」報告裡還附了一張永康飛行場的空照圖，顯示美軍已經掌握了相當的資訊。
