去年第一次去高雄的國立科學工藝博物館時，沒在地下一樓的大廳見到傳說中的IDF全尺寸木質模型，以為是被漢翔還是空軍收回去了。這次再回此處一遊，問了館員，才知道它「躲」在地下一樓的開放式典藏庫裡。不過雖名為開放，它的位置感覺並不開放（因為開放式典藏庫是指開放給大眾參觀，而非開放性空間的意思），而且要另付30元參觀費，所以應該有不少人因此錯過了這個鎮館之寶吧！如果為了妥善保存而無法移至大廳展示，館方也該在典藏庫門口作明顯的標示。 If you have the opportunity to visit the Nation Science And Technology Museum in Kaohsiung, do not miss the IDF full-scale wooden mock-up exhibit.
